About the program
ALX is a leading digital skills and career acceleration program that equips young people with in-demand skills for the global digital economy. It focuses on building practical, job-ready capabilities in areas such as software engineering, data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and professional foundations.
Through a combination of online learning, peer collaboration, and career readiness support, learners gain both technical and workplace skills needed to access local and global employment opportunities, including remote work. ALX places strong emphasis on self-driven learning, real-world problem solving, and access to a Pan-African network of learners, mentors, and employers. Participants in benefit from:
· Industry-relevant digital and technical skills training.
· Access to career development support, including CV building, interview preparation, and job search guidance.
· Exposure to global work opportunities, including remote roles.
· Participation in a Pan-African professional network.

Who Qualifies?
The program is open to young people in Kenya who demonstrate commitment to building a career in the digital economy. Typical eligibility includes:
· Young people aged 18–35 years.
· Access to a reliable internet connection and a computer.
· Demonstrated commitment to completing a rigorous learning program.
· Basic digital literacy (varies depending on the learning track)

Location
Open to applicants across Kenya given the online delivery model. For in-person peer collaboration, it has physical hubs in Nation Center in the Nairobi CBD, CPA Centre along Thika Road and Gateway Park along Mombasa Road.
