About the Program

This program supports young people, especially young women, in building resilient and profitable livelihoods through climate-smart agriculture.

Through the program, young farmers are supported to improve soil health and farm productivity, access practical agricultural training, and strengthen their ability to adapt to climate-related shocks. These opportunities are designed to help young people build more sustainable farming livelihoods and improve their long-term income potential.

The program recognizes that agriculture remains a major source of work and income for many young people in Kenya and aims to make that work more productive, resilient, and rewarding over time.

The program started in 2024 and will run until 2029.

 Who qualifies?

The program is open to young women and men aged 18–35 years living in One Acre Fund Kenya’s areas of operation who are interested in farming and climate-smart agriculture.
