Opportunities for youth with disabilities to participate in leadership, advocacy, policy engagement, community mobilization, and data-driven programming through Organizations of Persons with Disabilities. The intervention is intended to strengthen youth voice, support meaningful participation in disability inclusion processes, and create pathways for young people to contribute to inclusive development, accessibility advocacy, and ecosystem-level decision-making.
Who Can Apply
• Youth with disabilities affiliated with, referred by, or interested in engaging with OPDs
• Interest in advocacy, leadership, policy engagement, community work, or disability inclusion
• Commitment to participate in structured engagement, consultations, or capacity-strengthening activities
How to Apply
Interested applicants should:
Age Range:
18–40 years
Location / Counties:
Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Embu, Kilifi, and Turkana counties
Gender Requirements:
Young women with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Young men with disabilities are also eligible.
Education or Skill Requirements:
No formal education requirements. Applicants must have an existing business or an intention to start one.
