ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The program seeks to support young people in becoming polished and successful entrepreneurs. It does this by improving their farming skills, introducing them to new methods of farming, helping them access finance (loans), and linking them to markets to sell their produce. It also supports farm produce buyers and marketers in registering their businesses formally and training farmers on proper farming techniques. This way, they can employ other young people.

Young people are also taught how to make other products from their crop (value addition) so they get good prices, and are connected to agrochemical suppliers to get good prices of farm chemicals, seeds among others.

They have also formed the Youth Women Aggregators Association, a group that helps young farmers meet each other and share information so they can support each other in growing their incomes through farming and other agriculture related businesses.

The program started in May 2023 and is ongoing.
