About the Program

The Young People Economic Empowerment Program focuses on training, production, marketing and sales to create decent work, entrepreneurship opportunities and employment for young people in communities. This program supports young people, especially young women, in creating dignified and fulfilling work opportunities by offering quality education and training for financial independence and inclusion.

The program started in 2024 and will run until 2026.

Who qualifies?
The program is open to young women and men (aged 18-35 years) with a passion for success in Kajiado County. Young mothers and gender-based violence survivors are encouraged to apply.

Implementing Partner

Rebirth of a Queen CBO is a local, youth-led organization founded and managed by a young woman. The organization is rooted in a strong belief in survivors and is proudly survivor-led, youth-driven, and community-based. Its mission is to build a sustainable and safe ecosystem that provides long-term support to survivors through education, economic empowerment, fitness, storytelling, and protection. Since its establishment in 2019, Rebirth of a Queen has remained committed to creating safe spaces for survivors and vulnerable individuals within communities, empowering them to find and use their voices.
