Ajiry Skill Development

This program empowers young people with skills and tools for employment or entrepreneurship.

Digital and Online Work

Ajiry is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower young people by providing them with the necessary skills and tools to secure employment or create job opportunities for themselves. The program features ten Ajiry centers located across nine counties in Kenya: Nairobi, Mombasa, Machakos, Makueni, Laikipia, Nakuru, Kisii, Kiambu, and Bungoma. Notably, Kisii County hosts two of these centers.

Each Ajiry center is equipped with state-of-the-art computer stations, free Wi-Fi, and a complete studio with a professional producer to assist artists in creating their own content. The program offers free training sessions covering various skills aimed at enhancing the participants employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.

Ajiry also includes an online platform designed to connect employers with potential employees, similar to the model used by Brighter Monday. Employers can post job vacancies on the Ajiry web app, search for job applicants, shortlist candidates, and hire suitable individuals directly through the platform.
