ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program aims to train and support young people in fish (tilapia) breeding and egg harvesting, creating a network of successful small-scale tilapia breeders who will create livelihoods by consistently supplying the local tilapia hatcheries with adequate eggs.

The program includes activities such as training and knowledge transfer on pond construction, tilapia breeding, and best management practices in aquaculture. These include selecting breeds and spawning techniques and harvesting and handling tilapia eggs, among others. Young people are also linked to hatcheries to sell the eggs for income.
