This Program combines financial support with technical assistance and a collaborative coordination approach involving key stakeholders in the ecosystem.
The primary goal of this Program is to enhance access to both short-term and medium-term financing, as well as bolster management capabilities for youth and women-led/owned SMEs in Kenya or SMEs providing dignified jobs to young people. Our focus is on sectors characterized by a significant presence of young entrepreneurs, including agribusiness, manufacturing, artisanal enterprises, retail, and trade.
The Jiinue Growth Program extends an invitation to all ambitious, preferably young individuals who own or lead SMEs to explore the opportunities we offer for short and medium-term financing. If you are a young woman or man aged between 18 and 35, and you are operating a business in Kenya, an exciting opportunity awaits you.
Our eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The business should have been in operation for a minimum of 12 months.
- Proof of business ownership and operations, such as a certificate of incorporation or business registration, and any relevant operating permits or certificates, must be provided.
- Applicants must be willing to undergo business visits, credit reference checks, and both pre- and post-lending business capacitation support.
